Off-season weather conditions limit the hiking to main valleys and one-day tracks, during which tourists should keep in mind the proper preparation of themselves and their equipment.
Planning the more days track or hiking adventure, it’s recommended to bring the important equipment with yourself. There are some shops and services in Bishkek, which sell or rent the equipment, but usually, they offer just the basic equipment of the decent quality. So it’s recommended to make a quick research before you pack your backpack.
